Party- Minnie Mouse Style

In planning Ryah's 2 year party- I thought it would be appropriate to have a Minnie Mouse themed party, since she has a little obsession with Minnie Mouse right now.  Every morning while I am getting ready for work, Ryah lies in our bed with a glass of milk and watches the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  It actually is a cute cartoon.  My plan was to have her take a nap and have the whole house decorated in Minnie Mouse crap before she woke up.  But wouldn't you know- she didn't lay down at her "normal" time and only took about an hour nap.  Oh well- everything still worked out.

            Ryah's 2nd Birthday Party Menu:

 Ryah received such cute gifts.  We would tell her who the present was from, and she would bring the present to that person and open it in front of them.  She is so darn cute!  Some of them included:  babies, books, chair and table set, outfits, floor piano, and a sprinkler and beach towel.  Here are a few snapshots of her opening the gifts.

The highlight of the party was Grandpa Jensen's homemade Mickey/Minnie mouse ears.  The invite had stated "bring your ears... it's time for cheers."  So, my dad made these and brought them to the party!  Everyone was such a good sport in putting on the ears and getting their picture taken. 

I know Ryah sure enjoyed her party.  Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate :)
